Yesterday was a nuts & bolts kinda' day in our journey towards beginning a movement of God in our circles of influence! Greg, Zane & Prop were definitely INSPIRING!~
Part of becoming and being an Alpha X is staying inspired. That means staying closely connected to Jesus (John 15:1-8) through prayer and through reading, hearing & studying God's Word. There are no shortcuts here! Alpha X reps, who want to go wide with Jesus, must go deep with Jesus! Just as the moon has no light in and of itself, but reflects the light of the sun, we must realize that we have no light in and of ourselves, but are to reflect the LIGHT of the SON! This means transformation that is first internal, then external and is permanent, not fading!
One of the great ways to represent and share God with others is through stories - my story & His story. So we talked about how to better tell these stories!
Then we talked about OIL & FIRE:
Oil in that we have be anointed by God (Jer 1:4-9) - chosen for a task!
Fire in regards to passion - and this was AWESOME because we looked at the passage in Jeremiah 20: 1-9 that we used to name IGNITE!~
We then went to the mountains (and yes, our bus broke down) and did strategic planning for how to begin and to accomplish a movement of God in our Cause circles and with our Cause crew! This was nuts & bolts AWESOME!~
Last night ended with a small taste of EQUIP...
Can't wait to hear more today...
